Fly Fishing Guides

Owner and Head Fly Fishing Guide
Bill Bernhardt has been guiding for 30 years and has been an Orvis Endorsed Guide for 20 years. His experience ranges from Patagonia to his home waters of Pittsburg, NH.

Paul Starring has been an Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Guide for 8 years, during which time he has learned from and guided alongside Bill Bernhardt. Fishing since childhood, he loves to share his knowledge of fly fishing and the outdoors.

Joe Forrestall is a NH native with a love of fishing, the outdoors, and sharing his knowledge and passion with anyone willing to learn.

Randy Ouellette has spent years fishing the White Mountain's and Lakes Region of NH, as well as the Androscoggin River in the Great North Woods.

Rylee Joyal has centered his life around fly fishing since his earliest memories of fishing with his grandfather. While he loves putting clients on fish, his real passion is sharing that knowledge with others and fly tying.

Where We Fish

The headwaters of the Connecticut River boast the best season long trout and salmon fishing in NH! With two tailwater dams, two fly fishing only sections, and two landlocked salmon runs, there are plenty of fishing opportunities to be enjoyed!
As you move further south below Murphy Dam, the Connecticut River widens and offers many miles of drift fishing opportunities. These drifts offer great streamer, nymphing, and amazing dry fly fishing!

Southeast of Pittsburg, the Androscoggin River offers drift fishing trips for trout in the spring and fall, and bass fishing during the warmer months. Wildlife sightings are plentiful on this river and on your drive to and from the river.
Small streams and remote ponds are plentiful in the Great North Woods, and so are the chances of catching a beautiful wild brook trout. Follow the "blue lines" and logging roads and find some solitude.
